1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using ThinkHub ("the platform"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. User responsibility for content
You are solely responsible for all content you add, create, or publish on the platform. This includes but is not limited to:
- Quiz questions, answers, and explanations
- ThinkHub Pool prompts and responses
- Blog posts, comments, and likes
- Q&A questions, answers, and comments
- Flashcard content, course names, and any other text or materials you submit
You represent that you have the right to post such content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights. You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate, appropriate for an educational context, and not harmful, offensive, or misleading.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the platform to:
- Post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform or other users' use of it
- Use the platform for commercial purposes not permitted by your institution or by us
We reserve the right to remove content that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to the community, and to suspend or terminate accounts in case of serious or repeated breaches.
4. Licence to use your content
You grant ThinkHub and the institution operating the platform a licence to use, store, display, and process the content you submit as necessary to provide and improve the service (e.g. showing questions in quizzes, displaying blog posts, and storing answers). This licence does not transfer ownership of your content.
5. Disclaimer
The platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Content on the platform (including user-generated content) is not necessarily reviewed by us; we are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of user content. Use of the platform and any content is at your own risk.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThinkHub and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from content you or others post. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount (if any) you have paid to use the service in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Contact
For questions about these terms, please contact the platform administrator or the organisation that provided you access to ThinkHub.
